Tibor Malkav is a pathologist – and semi-autistic. But this is not his biggest problem. His biggest problem is that his mother dies of cancer and needs special treatment that could be granted to her in Sweden. But this is expensive. Too expensive for the salary of a small pathologist. But then Tibor receives an offer from a stranger that he cannot refuse: he is supposed to kill a person and receives the money he needs for the treatment of his mother. Tibor can be used on it. The murder happens and Tibor receives the promised money. But then a letter of his victim reaches him, addressed to him. Tibor’s curiosity is awakened – what is it about the dead?
