Design the interior and stick to the rubber – fill the glass with distilled water, glitter/snow, some water clear and rinse (so that the shaken material spreads beautifully).

The craft sets are available in different sizes: From 65 mm diameter up to 150 mm diameter. A music box can be supplemented with the balls from 100 mm diameter.

So your DIY snow globe will be a real eye-catcher

1. Please note that the figure is as wide as possible at the bottom for interior design. The wider the area you stick with the rubber, the better. If you want to install several figures, stick them first on a common – as straight as possible – plate.

2. The inner workings will ultimately appear significantly larger due to the water and the glass. Please note that the figure should only be about 50-60% of the size of the ball, otherwise it will later look as if the figure „bumps“ inside

3. To ensure that snow and glitter are optimally distributed in the water and do not remain „stick“ at the top, it is important that the surface tension of the water is broken. For this purpose, 1-2 small drops of rinse in the water are sufficient.

4. Press the rubber firmly into the glass – the existing bulges must close perfectly, this is only the case when the rubber completely closes with the glass. Otherwise, the rubber may loosen over time and the ball will lose water.

5. Leave the filled ball for a day and then shake. You can then remove any air bubbles with a syringe.

6. Please use distilled water and snow, which is specially suitable for snow globe filling. Normal decorative snow made of polystyrene is not suitable. These lightweight beads do not fall down in the water, but float up.
