Rostock – Fortuna Düsseldorf won 3-1 against Hansa Rostock on matchday 6 of the 2nd Bundesliga. With this victory, Düsseldorf moves to the top of the table, while Rostock drops to sixth place.
F95 dominated the game for long periods. Christos Tzolis (17th minute) and André Hoffmann (35th minute) scored for them. Jasper van der Werff reduced the deficit for Rostock in the 45th minute, but Jonas Niemiec increased Düsseldorf’s lead again shortly before the end of the match (88th minute). The other results were: Karlsruher SC – 1. FC Kaiserslautern 1-1, SV 07 Elversberg – Hamburger SV 2-1.
With this result, HSV drops to second place in the table, while Kaiserslautern improves to fourth. Karlsruhe worsens to eleventh place. Elversberg is now level on points with Paderborn in twelfth place.
